PropertyGrid: Refresh Custom ItemsSource

Jun 6, 2014 at 5:24 PM
Is there a way to reload / refresh a Property's item source? The logic in my custom items source class references a different property of the selected object. When that object changes, I want to update the item source to dynamically display it's contents.

Hi,

Does "PropertyGrid.Update()" do the job ? If not, I guess you'll have to wait for isue https://wpftoolkit.codeplex.com/workitem/18507 to be completed.
Thanks.

The Update method does not recreate the ItemsSource. Any chance that work item will be included in the next release?

This will be possible in v2.4 Plus version.

A new attribute will be available to tell a property that it depends from a list of other properties. When one of the properties from that list is modified, the original property editor will be re-evaluated.

No official dates....maybe at end of summer. Keep visiting the Extended WPF Toolkit web site from Xceed for latest news.
