DateTimePicker border missing in Windows 7 Classic theme

I've noticed some visual glitches with the DateTimePicker that appear when the Windows 7 desktop theme is set to Classic (XP style). I'm using the binary download of v1.6.0 for .NET 3.5 released Mar 31, and using controls with no custom styling of the border.

Using the Windows 7 Aero theme the DateTimePicker control appears consistent with all the other controls. However when the OS is configured to use the Windows Classic theme the control has no border around the textbox component, which is inconsistent with other core WPF controls. In addition, the calendar dropdown button is inconsistent with the ComboBox control, and the spinner buttons are missing borders.
