DateTimePicker: Format String for time picker drop down

Sep 6, 2011 at 3:32 PM

Hi - I noticed that you can specify the date format string for the text box that displays the selected date and time.

Is there a way to specify the format string for the time picker?  I have a situation where I need to display time in 24-hour mode.  But the time picker shows AM/PM instead of 24-hour-mode.  From what I can see in the source, the the DateTimePicker's time picker FormatString is hard-coded.  Any chance of this being exposed as a property that I can set when I add the DateTimePicker to my window?

I fully admit to being a beginning WPF developer, so if I've missed something simple, I apologize.

Thanks,

Phil

You are correct.  The format for the TimePicker is currently hard coded.  I have added this feature request to the issue tracker.
