How to mask the MaskedTextBox?

Oct 11, 2011 at 11:22 AM

I'm trying to use the masked text box for formatted double entries, but I'm puzzeling with the mask definition.

I would like to enter numbers between 1.0 and 100.0. How must I define the mask to be able to do so (without required spaces)?

By the way, nice job. Please continue. Kind Regards

The mask will always have spaces inplace of the missing mask characters.  If you want to limit the value entered I suggest using the DoubleUpDown control.  You can apply a FormatString to the value as well.

Thanks so far for the fast answer. That's what I also thought, but then I must invisble the arrows (which is currently not possible, or?).

Yes it is possible.  Please read the documentation:

Look for a property called ShowButtonSpinners.
